Job summary

UDYOGAH PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced CNC Turner cum Programmer to join our precision machining team. You will program, set up, operate, and inspect CNC turning machines to manufacture Oil & Gas components to exact tolerances.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and GD&T, editing CNC programmes, selecting tools and parameters, performing first-article checks, and conducting in-process and final inspections. 2–5 years of CNC programming/turning experience preferred.

Qualifications

Relevant technical qualification in CNC Machining / Mechanical Engineering / Precision Engineering or equivalent.
Proven experience as CNC Turner / CNC Lathe Programmer / CNC Machinist, preferably in Oil & Gas or precision engineering industry.
Strong knowledge of CNC turning machine setup, operation, and programming.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and machining specifications.
Good knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, workholding, tooling selection, and machining parameters.
2 to 5 years of Experience with CNC programming and editing using relevant machine controls
Ability to use precision measuring and inspection instruments.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned machining jobs.
Safety-conscious with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
This is a hands-on technical position. Candidates who are only experienced in machine operation or basic programme editing will not be suitable. Candidates must demonstrate strong technical judgement, problem-solving ability, precision, ownership, and accountability.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and programme CNC turning machines for precision machining of Oil & Gas components.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications.
Create, edit, and optimise CNC programmes to achieve efficient production and required tolerances.
Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, fixtures, and machining parameters based on material and job requirements.
Perform machine setting, tool offset adjustments, and first-article inspections before production.
Machine Oil & Gas parts such as flanges, valve components, couplings, shafts, fittings, and pressure-containing parts.
Conduct in-process and final dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues, programme errors, tooling problems, and quality defects to minimise downtime.
Ensure all completed parts meet quality standards, tolerances, and customer specifications.
Take full ownership of the machining process from programming, machine setup, operation, inspection, and completion of the job while maintaining safety and productivity standards.
