Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within sea freight forwarding, shipping or logistics.
• Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated success in business development and customer management.
• Sound understanding of sea freight operations, market dynamics, products and services.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L ownership and performance management.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence internally and externally.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing diverse teams.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead and develop the Sea Logistics team to achieve revenue, profitability and growth objectives.
• Drive business development through pipeline reviews, market opportunities and business performance analysis.
• Strengthen customer relationships and ensure the successful implementation of customer operating procedures and service standards.
• Build strong partnerships with key customers, shipping lines and vendors across Singapore and the wider region.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies and industry standards while maintaining audit readiness.
• Champion regional and global initiatives, ensuring successful local adoption and execution
• Monitor business performance through P&L management, cost control and financial analysis.
• Develop procurement and pricing strategies that support profitable growth and trade lane development.
• Foster talent development, succession planning and capability building across the organisation
• Collaborate with regional counterparts to share best practices, strengthen operational performance and support sustainable growth initiatives
