Job summary

Singapore Swimming Club seeks an Executive, Finance to transform raw data into actionable financial information and support strategic decision-making. You will maintain the general ledger, post transactions such as member dues and F&B revenue, and prepare schedules to support month-end and year-end reporting.

The role requires a accounting qualification with 2–4 years of experience, proficiency in Excel and accounting systems, and a disciplined, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of general ledger or full-set accounting experience.
• Familiarity with membership-based operations and club accounting is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Team-oriented with good communication and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Club's general ledger and post all transactions promptly.
• Prepare monthly journal entries including prepayments and accruals.
• Reconcile key balance sheet accounts monthly (bank, receivables, payables, GST).
• Prepare schedules for month-end and year-end financial reporting.
• Monitor fixed assets, depreciation, and capital expenditure tracking.
• Support audits by providing documentation and answering queries.
• Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Membership teams to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in reports and variance analysis for Finance Committee and Management meetings.
• Support system improvements and data cleanup to ensure internal controls.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive member and financial data.
• Other duties as assigned by Head of Finance or management.
