Job summary

Football Association of Singapore invites applications for a Manager / Senior Manager, Finance (General Ledger). Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will lead the General Ledger function, oversee month-end and year-end closings, and ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting.

You will manage a team, coordinate budgeting and forecasting, oversee external audits, strengthen internal controls, and drive finance transformation while supporting regulatory submissions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline; professional qualification preferred.
• 7–10 years of relevant financial accounting experience including general ledger and financial reporting with people management.
• Strong knowledge of SFRS, month-end closing, financial reporting and internal controls.
• Experience managing audits, statutory reporting and finance transformation.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 BC) and Excel.
• Experience in a non-profit, grant-funded, or public sector environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end closing processes and balance sheet reporting.
• Review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, fixed assets, and reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing deliverables and financial statements.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and forecasting; provide financial insights.
• Lead external audits and respond to audit queries; strengthen policies and controls.
• Develop and coach the General Ledger team; drive continuous improvement and staff development.
• Collaborate with business units and regulators on finance matters.
• Be willing to work on match days and other duties as assigned by the Director, Finance or General Secretary.
