Job summary

OCBC Group seeks a Cloud Middleware Support Engineer to manage OpenShift/Kubernetes, Kafka, and Redis infrastructure and services. You will assist stakeholders, troubleshoot incidents, and help optimize resources while applying security best practices.

The role involves a 24/7 operations mindset, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays, to ensure service reliability for OCBC's cloud middleware platform.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience supporting OpenShift, Kafka, or Redis.
• Knowledge of client-server, 3-tier web apps and distributed systems.
• System administration with OS, logs, networking and storage troubleshooting.
• Able to collaborate with stakeholders and learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for OCBC Cloud Middleware services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift/Kafka/Redis infrastructure and apps.
• Apply problem solving to identify root causes and recover services.
• Perform capacity planning and resource optimization.
• Ensure security best practices and policy compliance.
