Job summary

OCBC is seeking an Observability Platform Engineer to design and maintain end‑to‑end observability across Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift clusters. You will instrument applications with OpenTelemetry, build dashboards, and drive automated remediation and real-time alerting.

You will also develop internal tooling in Python, create RESTful API integrations, and work with DevOps to embed observability in CI/CD pipelines while contributing to incident response and runbooks.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or DevOps with observability focus.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end observability across Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters.
• Instrument applications using OpenTelemetry; build dashboards and alerting pipelines.
• Develop internal tooling and RESTful API integrations for observability platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed observability in CI/CD pipelines and incident response.
