Job summary

Google Cloud Singapore is seeking a Customer Engineering (CE) Manager to lead a team of customer engineers who deliver trusted technical guidance and accelerate workload migrations for APAC clients.

You will shape technical direction, collaborate with Product Management and Engineering, and drive cross-functional engagement to solve complex customer challenges in cloud adoption and modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• 5 years of experience in pre-sales management or a people management role in a technical team.
• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to partner with both local and APAC clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Customer Engineering team in a matrixed organization, focusing on talent strategy and driving cloud transformation outcomes.
• Execute the technical direction and strategy for the region’s Data Management practice and scale contributions.
• Influence cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are represented in product roadmaps and new technology is incubated.
• Lead technical engagements with strategic customers and plan customer engagements with cross-functional peers.
