Job summary

NCS Group in Singapore invites a Cloud Platform Engineer to design, implement, and manage core cloud infrastructure with a focus on availability and reliability. You will work in an agile team across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS environments in AWS, building automation, CI/CD pipelines, and IaC practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on engineering, production support, and documentation of runbooks and standards as you help optimize cost, performance, and governance for client cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience implementing and supporting cloud infrastructure components in production environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues independently and in a team.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation (processes, procedures, runbooks).

Responsibilities

• Set up, test, implement, and maintain technologies in AWS cloud environments.
• Set up, test, integrate, and support CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Architect and develop cloud solutions to meet project and service requirements.
• Work in an agile, cross-functional team; actively engage to ensure team and delivery success.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues individually and as part of a team.
• Operate, manage, and support IT infrastructure and services to meet client SLAs.
• Provide AWS production maintenance support (monitoring, tuning, patching, updates/upgrades).
• Demonstrate hands-on DevSecOps practices, including IaC development and deployment.
• Use AWS CloudFormation to automate infrastructure deployment.
• Build, maintain, and support AMIs and Auto Scaling Groups.
• Improve resource utilization and implement cost governance measures.
• Ensure alignments with client standards and policies.
• Review and improve operational processes and runbooks.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends.
