Job summary

NHG Health Group is seeking a Clinic Operations Manager to lead overall clinical operations across assigned clinics. You will drive efficiency, ensure high quality patient-centred care, and maintain safe, well-organised environments while supporting strategic goals.

The role requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience (or 5+ years with a Diploma), strong leadership, and proficiency with hospital systems. Expect collaboration with nurses, doctors, and service departments to optimise workflows

Qualifications

• Degree with 1–3 years of relevant experience, or Diploma with at least 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Preferably with knowledge of hospital or healthcare operations.
• Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Positive attitude with initiative and willingness to learn.
• Proficient in computer systems; knowledge of statistics and performance reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation with focus on clinic profit & loss, deployment, availability of care, customer service and efficiency.
• Coordinate ambulatory care across units; streamline work processes and maintain operational and service standards.
• Ensure compliance with established operational policies, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Accountable for clinic KPIs, operational metrics, and management reports aligned with hospital goals.
• Ensure clinic assets are in optimal condition; coordinate with BME and FM for maintenance.
• Manage patient feedback and frontline staff performance to ensure service excellence.
• Drive improvement of services with regular reviews with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with A&E, Inpatient, Peri-ops and support departments to ensure safe patient and information flows.
• Provide governance of billing practices and review charges according to price changes.
• Assist in Business Continuity Plan and Data Protection measures; participate in risk reviews.
• Align departmental objectives with organisation’s strategic goals.
• Plan, oversee, and support staff training and development.
• Support corporate activities and staff involvement in community projects.
• Carry out other duties assigned by Reporting Officer.
