Job summary

FAMILY CARE CLINIC PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a customer-focused clinic assistant to support front desk operations, patient coordination and basic clinical tasks. You will register patients, manage appointments and assist with payments and insurance claims, while maintaining accurate records and a clean, organized clinic environment.

The role requires flexibility for evening and weekend shifts, comfort with computers, and a positive service attitude.

Qualifications

• Able to commit to evening and weekend shifts.
• Comfortable using computers and willing to learn.
• Responsible, dependable and able to work well in a team.
• Friendly and patient, with a positive service attitude.
• Previous healthcare or front desk experience.
• Familiarity with Plato CMS and insurance or MediSave claims.
• Ability to speak Mandarin or dialects to assist elderly patients who do not speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for doctor review and dispense them according to clinic protocols.
• Assist doctors during consultations and procedures, including chaperone duties.
• Assist with simple clinical procedures, such as ECG and nebuliser treatments, after training.
• Maintain accurate patient records and perform administrative duties.
• Keep the clinic clean and organised, and replenish medications and consumables.
• Address basic patient concerns and escalations as needed.

Our family clinic serves a significant number of elderly patients who may not be fluent in English and often communicate in dialects such as Hokkien, Teochew, or Cantonese. Proficiency in Mandarin or the ability to converse in dialects would be highly beneficial.
