Job summary

PYM Consultants Pte Ltd is seeking a clinic assistant for a specialist clinic at Farrer Park Hospital. The role offers a friendly environment, no night shifts, and supportive staff.

You will chaperone doctors, handle front desk tasks, schedule appointments, process payments and insurance claims, dispense medications, manage inventory, and assist in ordering tests. Strong English and Chinese communication and computer literacy are important.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or equivalent.
• Able to communicate fluently with English and Chinese-speaking patients.
• Cheerful and able to work independently.
• Comfortable with using computer and basic software.
• Relevant clinic experience is an advantage with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Chaperone and assist doctors in daily clinic operations.
• Support front counter duties (registration, phone enquiries).
• Schedule appointments.
• Cashier duties: collect payment, insurance submissions, pre-authorisations.
• Dispense medications.
• Maintain inventory and assist in ordering tests.
• Maintain clinic cleanliness.

About the role

Specialist clinic based in Farrer Park Hospital. 5.5 working days per week with no night shift. Be assured of a friendly working environment and great staff support.

Key responsibilities

• Chaperone and assist doctors in clinic daily operations




• Support front counter duties (registration, answering general phone enquiries)




• Schedule appointments




• Cashering duties (collect payment, submit insurance claims, apply for letter of guarantee and pre-authorisation)




• Dispense medications




• Maintain inventory level and stock takes if requested




• Assist in ordering tests for patients




• Maintain clinic cleanliness

About you

• Minimum GCE 'O' Level




• Able to communicate fluently with English and Chinese speaking patients




• Cheerful and able to work independently




• Comfortable with using computer




• Relevant work experience in clinic will be an advantage. However, job training will be provided
