Job summary

GUANGDONG IMPORT & EXPORT PTE LTD is seeking a customer account specialist to maintain key client relationships and ensure smooth order fulfilment. This on-site role is based in Jurong, Singapore.

You will handle inquiries, process orders, coordinate with internal teams, and resolve issues promptly, with Mandarin proficiency a plus. Prior experience in food supplies is advantageous. Excellent communication skills and proactive problem solving are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Mandarin proficiency to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Prior working experience in food supplies industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for existing customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle and process enquiries, orders, requests, and feedback from existing customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment, delivery, and service support.
• Resolve customer complaints, service issues, and product quality concerns promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities for account growth by analysing and understanding customer business needs and purchasing trends.
• Work closely with customers to identify factors contributing to any drop in business performance and recommend solutions / follow-up actions.
• Maintain accurate customer records and account information in system.

Guangdong was established in 1987 and mainly deals with dried fruits, agricultural products, grain products, sauces, moon cake fillings and a wide variety of food products. We are a professional and experienced wholesaler and food supplier, supplying quality food to local retail shops and to the F&B industry.

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all existing customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Handle and process all enquiries, orders, requests, and feedback from existing customers in a professional and timely manner.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment, delivery, and service support.
• Resolve customer complaints, service issues, and product quality concerns promptly and professionally.

• Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, Alternate Saturdays 8am-2pm
