Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a detail-oriented Cleanroom Operations & Logistics Technician to manage end-to-end handling of high-value semiconductor components.

The role requires strict adherence to cleanroom and safety procedures and accurate inventory records. You will safely handle fragile quartz and mechanical parts, operate automated washing machines, perform inventory checks, issue parts to engineering teams, coordinate outbound logistics, and update ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

• NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.
• 3 years in a semiconductor wafer fab, cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP/inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to handle fragile and high-value components carefully.
• Comfortable working with chemical cleaning systems and wearing cleanroom suits / bunny suits

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, inspect and clean fragile quartz and mechanical components
• Operate Polyflow automated washing machines according to established SOPs
• Ensure cleaning and handling processes meet required quality and safety standards
• Follow strict cleanroom procedures when handling sensitive semiconductor components
• Receive, unpack and verify incoming parts against relevant documentation
• Perform accurate inventory checks and ensure proper identification of components
• Kit and issue parts to engineering teams according to requirements
• Maintain proper physical control of high-value and sensitive components
• Coordinate outbound logistics for parts requiring external vendor repair
• Create and manage RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations)
• Track repair status and turnaround times
• Follow up with external vendors to ensure timely return of repaired parts
• Update ERP / WMS systems promptly for stock movements, repairs and scrap
• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and component status
• Ensure digital records are complete, accurate and up to date
• Support inventory reconciliation and reporting activities
• Strictly follow Class 10/100 cleanroom protocols
• Wear appropriate PPE and cleanroom attire
• Follow all relevant SOPs and workplace safety procedures
