Job summary

JE Human Resources Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Junior/Senior) for civil works construction in Singapore.

The role focuses on cost management, contract administration, and delivering commercial success on infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in QS or civil engineering, 2+ years in Singapore, and strong skills in take-offs, cost analysis and MS Excel.

Qualifications

Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction industry (civil projects preferred).
LTA project experience preferred.
Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review cost estimates and budgets.
Evaluate and recommend subcontractor quotations and claims
Measure quantities and prepare progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts
Assist in contract negotiation and administration
Monitor project costs, budgets and contractual matters.
Track project costs and ensure cost control throughout the lifecycle
Liaise with project managers, consultants, and clients on contractual and commercial matters
Coordinate with clients, consultants and project teams on commercial issues.
For Senior QS: Lead quantity surveying activities and guide junior team members.
