Job summary

Qualitat Engineering in Singapore is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, and contract administration for civil projects. The role requires 3+ years of relevant local experience and familiarity with LTA contracts.

You will perform quantity take-offs, monitor project costs, prepare progress claims and final accounts, and liaise with clients and subcontractors. Strong MS Excel skills and an independent, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Singapore construction industry (civil projects preferred).
• Familiar with Singapore LTA contracts.
• Proficient in quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-off and measurement based on drawings.
• Prepare quotations, progress claims and Variation Orders (VO).
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and claims.
• Prepare subcontractor payment certificates and monitor payments.
• Monitor project costs and prepare regular cost reports.
• Handle contract administration and contractual documentation.
• Prepare and negotiate final accounts.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend site meetings and carry out site measurements when required.
