Job summary

Barker Road Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated Facilities Officer to coordinate day-to-day operations across BRMC premises, including BRMCLL at Barker and Vanda locations, and Oasis. The role covers maintenance, bookings, inventory, and safety.

You will work a 5.5-day week (44 hours) with rostered Saturdays and Sundays, occasional evenings and holidays, and 24-hour standby for alarms. Knowledge of building systems, vendor management, and record keeping is essential.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level qualification or equivalent.
• Facilities management certification or Building Project Management.
• At least two years of relevant facilities management experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance across church premises to ensure safety and operability.
• Coordinate building system servicing, safety checks, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage bookings, venue logistics, and coordination with departments and vendors.
• Supervise cleaning, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Maintain records, service reports, and compliance documentation.
