Job summary

Frazer Jones is retained to fill a newly created Chief Human Resources Officer role for a PE-backed FMCG/Retail group, with headquarters in Shenzhen. The CHRO will shape people strategy and build scalable HR infrastructure, reporting to the CEO and collaborating with the senior leadership team and investors from Shenzhen.

The ideal candidate has senior HR leadership experience in PE-backed, high-growth consumer-facing environments with strong China exposure; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Senior HR leader with PE-backed experience.
• Experience in fast-growing consumer sectors (FMCG/retail).
• Strong China/Asia experience preferred; Mandarin advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end HR strategy and execution for a PE-backed, high-growth business.
• Oversee organisational design, leadership succession, total rewards, performance management, and governance.
• Drive talent development and scalable HR infrastructure to support expansion.
• Partner with the CEO, executive team and investors to align people strategy with business priorities.
