Job summary

RICHWELL GLOBAL FORWARDING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Regional Director, Business Development to lead overseas growth with a primary focus on China.

Based in Singapore, you will drive new revenue streams by engaging shippers, freight partners, and trade networks in China and across the region. You will build and mentor a regional BD team, lead market research, and represent the company at trade shows and client meetings in China.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of business development or commercial leadership in freight/logistics.
• Proven track record growing business in China market.
• Mandarin native or near-native; strong English.
• Deep knowledge of China's trade environment and cross-border logistics.
• Success in new business acquisition, key account management, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute BD strategy for overseas markets, focusing on China.
• Identify and secure opportunities with shippers, importers/exporters, and freight partners.
• Build senior-level relationships with clients, agents and partners in China/region.
• Lead market research and competitive analysis for growth opportunities.
• Represent RICHWELL at trade shows and client meetings in China/overseas.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer service for onboarding.
• Negotiate terms and service agreements with new and existing clients.
• Build and mentor a regional BD team as presence scales.
• Prepare reports, forecasts and pipeline updates for senior management.
• Monitor regulatory and industry developments affecting cross-border movement to/from China.
