Job summary

AIS-HILL PTE. LTD. seeks a senior Civil & Structural engineer to provide overall direction for the C&S team on Singapore projects, ensuring delivery to the highest professional technical and safety standards.

The ideal candidate holds a PEB-recognised degree with IES/ACES accreditation, and has at least 20 years of relevant experience and 15 years on large-scale projects including buildings, structural steel, and drainage. Proficiency in PSSCOC contract administration is required.

Qualifications

• Civil & Structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB) of Singapore.
• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of IES and ACES.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant Civil & Structural experience.
• At least 15 years on projects similar in size and complexity: major construction works in buildings, structural steel works, and drainage.
• Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall C&S team direction to meet project objectives.
• Oversee manpower deployment based on main contractors' work schedules.
• Deliver projects to the highest professional technical and safety standards.
• Conversant with Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements, and WSH Manual.
• Endorse daily, weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Coordinate overseas fabrication yard supervision for structural steel and precast components.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore (ACES)
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience as a Civil & Structural engineer
• At least 15 years on projects similar in size and complexity: major construction works in buildings, structural steel works, and drainage
• Proficient in PSSCOC contract administration

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide overall C&S team direction and management to meet project objectives
• Oversee and administer QSS manpower deployment based on main contractors' work schedules
• Ensure the project is delivered to the highest professional technical and safety standards
• Conversant with Changi Aerodrome Manual, Airside Works Procedures Manual, AOS requirements, and WSH Manual
• Endorse daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
• Coordinate overseas fabrication yard supervision visits for structural steel and precast components

Preferred / Advantageous

• Experience with large-scale structural steel works and precast concrete preferred.
