Trulyyy seeks a Head of Engineering in Singapore to build the payment service architecture from scratch and lead the engineering team. The role focuses on a robust double-entry ledger, secure payment orchestration, and end-to-end data integrity across upstream and internal systems.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in backend engineering with ledger or core banking experience, and can balance hands-on coding with strategic leadership from the outset.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend engineering experience with ledger/settlement background.
• Proven ability to build production systems handling real customer funds.
• Fluent in transactional correctness: idempotency, exactly-once, event sourcing.

Responsabilités

• Design and build the double-entry ledger and balance state machine.
• Lead payment orchestration with a clean internal interface and failover.
• Own end-to-end information flow: APIs, callbacks, event handling, idempotency.
• Build multi-party reconciliation and ensure same-day discrepancy clearance.
• Write and review core code early; grow ledger, integration and reconciliation squads.
