Job summary

YouTrip seeks a Principal Architect to lead the end-to-end money movement platform across consumer and business wallets. You will define ledger structures, multi-currency strategies, and reconciliation processes, while shaping card issuing and FX workflows.

You will work across markets to ensure scalable, compliant architectures and mentor a growing technical leadership team. Based in Singapore, you will partner with product, finance, and regulatory functions to deliver robust, high-performance

Qualifications

Deep payments and ledger expertise with ledger design and reconciliation experience.
Experience with card scheme integrations and issuer processing.
Ability to write clear architectural decisions and documentation.

Responsibilities

Own the architectural direction for money movement end to end across wallets, balances, ledger, and settlements.
Define and defend decisions for authorisation holds, corrections, FX revaluation, and unreconciled positions.
Design real-time authorisation, tokenisation, and card lifecycle for Mastercard Principal Member.
Model cross-border transfers, settlements, and sanctions/AML screening.
Define non-functional targets: latency, throughput, availability, cost.
Mentor engineers and grow an architecture group.
