Job summary

SGET SG PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Chinese kitchen chef to lead daily Chinese cuisine preparation in Chinatown / Raffles. This role emphasizes authentic cooking, quality, and efficiency within a busy kitchen environment.

You will work a 6-day week, 10 hours per day, with shift timings arranged according to the restaurant's schedule. Proficiency in wok cooking and a strong hygiene mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Chinese restaurant or hotel kitchen.
• Strong knowledge and skills in Chinese cuisine.
• Proficient in wok cooking.
• Familiar with steaming, boiling, braising, and other Chinese cooking methods.
• Experienced in preparing various types of Chinese dishes.
• Able to independently handle daily kitchen cooking operations.
• Good awareness of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Responsible and able to adapt to the fast-paced F&B environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes for the restaurant's daily operations.
• Prepare ingredients and cook according to the menu and food standards.
• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet the required standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and work areas.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to support daily operations.

Salary: SGD 3,000 - SGD 4,000
Location: Chinatown / Raffles
Approximately 5 minutes' walk from MRT

Working Hours

• 6 days per week
