Job summary

Courtyard by Marriott Singapore is seeking a dedicated cook to prepare meals according to recipes and quality standards at our Novena hotel. You will regulate oven temperatures, manage portions, and ensure food presentation meets Courtyard’s standards while maintaining accurate food logs.

You’ll work with the team during busy periods, assist in hiring, training, and scheduling, and follow all safety policies.

Qualifications

• Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree.
• Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare special meals or substitute items and follow recipes and standards.
• Regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.
• Maintain food logs and monitor quality and quantity of prepared food.
• Assist in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, coaching, and motivating staff.
• Follow safety and security policies and report issues to management
