Job summary

Qualifications

• Good cooking skills and knowledge of the assigned kitchen section.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the assigned kitchen section.
• Complete all ingredient preparation and mise en place before service.
• Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portion sizes.
• Monitor ingredient usage and notify the Sous Chef when stocks need replenishing.
• Keep the assigned workstation clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
• Control food usage and minimise unnecessary wastage.
• Assist with smooth and timely food preparation during service.
