You will be responsible for the preparation and execution of dishes within your assigned kitchen section, ensuring high standards of food quality, consistency, presentation, and hygiene. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you will contribute to smooth kitchen operations and deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.
Prepare and execute dishes according to established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Manage and maintain the mise en place for your assigned section to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Ensure all dishes are prepared consistently, accurately, and within the required service time.
Monitor the quality, freshness, and proper handling of ingredients to minimise wastage.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and kitchen safety in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Properly label, store, and rotate ingredients using FIFO practices.
Assist with daily stock checks, inventory management, and replenishment of ingredients.
Support menu preparation, seasonal menu changes, promotions, and special events where required.
Work closely with the culinary team to maintain an organised and efficient kitchen throughout service.
Guide and support junior kitchen team members when required.
Carry out other kitchen duties as assigned by the Head Chef or Sous Chef.
At least 1 year of experience as a Chef de Partie, Demi Chef, or similar role in a professional kitchen.
Experience in Western, European, or contemporary dining is an advantage.
Basic culinary training or relevant F&B certification (e.g. WSQ) is an advantage.
Good understanding of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to food quality.
A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and Public Holidays.
