Job summary

BEZ CAREERS (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Line Cook / Commis Chef / Chef De Partie in Singapore to prepare Greek and Mediterranean dishes and maintain high quality during service.

You will perform mise en place, grill and hot kitchen duties, and assist with stock and inventory while upholding safety and hygiene standards. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with fast-paced kitchens, and willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Cook, Line Cook, Commis Cook or Chef.
• Experience in Greek or Mediterranean cuisine preferred.
• Knowledge of grilling, hot kitchen operations and food preparation techniques.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Familiar with food hygiene and safety standards.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Greek and Mediterranean cuisine according to recipes and food safety requirements.

• Carry out daily mise en place, food preparation, grilling, hot kitchen and line cooking duties.
• Operate assigned kitchen stations efficiently during service.
• Work with the Head Chef / Sous Chef to maintain consistent food quality, portioning and presentation.
• Assist with preparation of Greek dishes, grilled meats, vegetables, sauces, dips and other Mediterranean dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
• Handle and store food ingredients properly to minimize wastage.
• Assist with stock checking and basic kitchen inventory.

SGD 2,600 - 3,200 per month (commensurate with experience)
