Job summary

TIN LOK XIAN PTE. LTD. is seeking experienced Chinese Cuisine Chefs to join our kitchen team across multiple restaurant concepts.

Candidates with strong background in Sichuan or other regional Chinese cuisines are welcome. You'll prepare and cook dishes to established recipes, maintain taste and presentation, and support the kitchen during peak service periods. Qualifications

• Experience in Chinese cuisine is preferred.
• Experience in Chinese restaurants or regional Chinese cuisine is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and food preparation techniques.
• Able to work in a high-volume kitchen and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and restaurant standards.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation and portion size.
• Prepare ingredients before service.
• Ensure food is prepared and served within the required standards and time.
• Monitor food quality and freshness.
• Maintain proper food storage and handling procedures.
• Follow food safety and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the assigned workstation.
• Minimise food wastage and control ingredient usage.
• Assist with stock checking and ingredient preparation.
• Work closely with the Kitchen Supervisor and other kitchen team members.
• Support the kitchen during peak service periods.
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff when required.
