Job summary

AL MAJLIS FOODS PTE. LTD. seeks a Chief Chef to lead diverse kitchen operations including Thai Muslim Seafood, Western, Chicken Rice, and North Indian offerings with a strong emphasis on halal standards and quality control.

The role covers budgeting, cost control, purchasing, storekeeping, and manpower management, ensuring food hygiene and MUIS halal compliance while accommodating rotating shifts and late hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in HALAL restaurant operations.
• Willing to work overtime and during weekends/public holidays.
• Open to rotating off days.

Responsibilities

• Handle purchasing and storekeeping.
• Budgeting and cost control for the kitchen.
• Manage manpower within the department.
• Ensure food hygiene, cleanliness, and quality.
• Comply with MUIS halal requirements.

7. Willing to start with Short Notice.
8. Rotating Shift till 3am in the morning from 10am.
9. Responsible for Purchase and store keeping.
10. Responsible for Budgeting.
11. Responsible for Cost Control.
12. Responsible managing Manpower in the department.
13. Responsible for Food Hygiene, Cleanliness and Food Quality.
14. Responsible for all MUIS Halal Requirements Strictly.

Requirements

1. Minimum 5 Years’ Experience in the relevant field.
2. No Strict Basic Education Required.
3. Minimum 2 years’ Experience in HALAL Restaurant Operations.
4. MUIS HALAL training will be an added Advantage.
5. Willing to work Overtime whenever required.
6. We open for all Weekends and Public Holidays.
7. Willing to work with rotating off days.
