Job summary

OINO SHIPBROKERS PTE. LTD. seeks an experienced ship broker who can manage market tonnage to customers, negotiate spot and time charters to maximize owners' income, and review charter parties with accuracy.

You will coordinate with chartering and operations to optimize space, handle contracts of affreightment, maintain voyage records, build lasting client relationships, and demonstrate strong negotiation, numeracy and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ship brokering or related maritime trading.
• Maritime commercial degree or relevant qualifications preferred.
• Strong negotiation, client management and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Market tonnage to customers, shippers, and charterers.
• Negotiate spot and time charters to maximize owners' income.
• Check through charter parties for accuracy and risk.
• Coordinate the allocation of sport and contract cargo to ships.
• Set up and negotiate deals, presenting to potential clients and following through to closure.
• Coordinate with chartering and operations to maximize space utilization and voyage profitability.
• Coordinate all aspects of trans-shipments and COAs with customers.
• Maintain voyage records and knowledge of charter party forms and terms.
