Role Description

The Catering Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. This role is responsible for generating and managing catering sales opportunities, including responding to inquiries, preparing proposals, and conducting client meetings. The specialist will collaborate closely with the operations and culinary teams to design customized menus, plan event setups, and ensure seamless execution of catering services. Day-to-day tasks include managing client relationships, following up on leads, maintaining accurate records of bookings, and monitoring event timelines and requirements. The role also involves supporting customer service during events, addressing client feedback, and contributing to sales strategies that drive revenue growth and repeat business.

Qualifications

• Strong Catering Sales and Sales skills, with experience in identifying leads, negotiating packages, and closing deals.
• Proven ability in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, ensuring a positive client experience from initial inquiry to post-event follow-up.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations and event catering, including menu planning and basic understanding of food presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners.
• Organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple events and deadlines.
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or event sales is highly beneficial.
• Comfort working in an on-site, fast-paced environment, including occasional evenings, weekends, or public holidays as required by events.
• Basic proficiency with CRM systems and office productivity tools for managing sales pipelines and documentation.
