Swee Heng Bakery Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an adaptable R&D/Production Support role to help create and produce retail pastries, ensure quality, and support new product launches.

You will prepare items for outlets, train staff, manage stock, and work with the Executive Chef to develop cakes and breads, all while upholding NEA hygiene standards.

This hands-on role requires collaboration, attention to detail, and flexibility to work weekends during launches.

Qualifications

• Minimum Professional Certificate/NITEC / Diploma in Pastry and Baking and Food services.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
• At least 1 year of experience in R&D field (Preferred).
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare bi-weekly stock and month-end counts for outlets.
• Prepare for new outlets and replenish stock as needed.
• Provide SOP guidance and coaching to production staff and outlet bakers for new products.
• Assist Executive Chef in creating new pastry and bakery products.
• Raise purchase requisitions for new materials.
• Inspect cake finishing and icing production daily.
• Assist icing dept during downtime to learn operations.
• Follow up on new product launches.
• Ensure compliance with NEA food handling and hygiene standards.
• Assist with product demonstrations for external parties.
