Job summary

Premier Fresh Mart Pte. Ltd. is seeking a responsible, hands-on Cafe Operator to manage the daily operations of our small healthy food and beverage cafe. This is a practical, not purely supervisory role, requiring you to be involved in cooking, serving and cash handling.

You will work Monday to Saturday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with Sundays off, maintain hygiene, stock, and customer service, handle the POS, and assist with other duties to ensure smooth cafe running.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B or cafe settings is preferred.
• Capable of handling cash and operating the POS.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cafe opening and closing and overall operations.
• Prepare simple healthy meals, salads, juices and beverages.
• Serve customers, take orders and operate the POS/cashier.
• Manage stock, FIFO rotation and incoming goods.
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and proper food storage.
• Provide hands-on support to ensure smooth cafe running.

Job description

We are looking for a responsible, hands-on and independent Cafe Operator to manage the daily operations of our small healthy food & beverage cafe. This is a hands-on position, not a purely supervisory or office-based role.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday, 6 days/week (Sunday Off)

Working Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily opening, closing and overall cafe operations
• Prepare simple healthy meals, salads, fresh juices and beverages
• Serve customers, take orders and operate the POS/cashier
• Sell and arrange whole fruits, ensuring freshness and proper FIFO rotation
• Monitor stock levels and receive/check incoming goods
• Maintain cleanliness, food hygiene and proper food storage
• Minimize food wastage and keep the cafe organized
• Handle basic customer feedback and report operational issues to the manager
• Assist with other duties required for the smooth running of the cafe

About you

• F&B, cafe, restaurant or juice bar experience preferred
• Basic cooking and food preparation skills
• Comfortable handling customers, cashier/POS and stock
• Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate preferred; candidates without certification may be considered if willing to obtain it
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Responsible, hardworking, reliable and customer-oriented
• Comfortable with hands-on work including cooking, serving, cleaning and stock handling
• Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred
