Job summary

HANSING RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Café Supervisor to manage daily outlet operations, lead the team and maintain high standards of service, food quality and hygiene in a fast-paced café.

You will plan rosters, supervise staff, coordinate kitchen and service, monitor inventory and cash handling, handle customer feedback, and ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety requirements.

• Relevant experience in F&B operations with supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

We are looking for a Café Supervisor to manage daily outlet operations, lead the team and maintain high standards of service, food quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily outlet operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Plan staff rosters, assign duties and manage manpower deployment.
• Supervise staff performance and provide coaching on service and operational procedures.
• Coordinate kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

• Monitor food quality and ensure compliance with established preparation and presentation standards.
• Oversee inventory checks, stock ordering and replenishment to minimise shortages and wastage.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Supervise cashiering, daily sales reconciliation and opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure staff comply with food hygiene, workplace safety and cleanliness requirements.
• Train and orientate new employees.
• Monitor operating expenses and recommend improvements to productivity and service.
• Report sales performance, staffing matters and operational issues to management.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in F&B operations, with supervisory or team-leading experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage daily operational priorities.
• Knowledge of inventory control, cash handling and food hygiene practices.
• Able to work independently and lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
