Job summary

kommunity pte. ltd. is seeking a dedicated Front-of-House Lead in Singapore to oversee daily operations, bookings, and guest service. You will supervise staff, coordinate with the kitchen, manage reservations, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

The role requires experience with events or large groups, proficiency in POS and rostering tools, and weekend availability. Barista skills and WSQ Level 1 can be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience leading front-of-house teams and events.
• Proficient with POS and reservation systems; able to roster staff effectively.
• Experience with coffee/barista skills is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain WSQ Food Safety Level 1 if not held.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shift operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and service flow.
• Lead, train, and roster service crew to maintain high team performance.
• Address guest feedback promptly and resolve issues on the spot.

• Lead, train, and roster service crew to maintain high team performance and support floor operations during peak hours
• Address guest feedback promptly and resolve issues on the spot to enhance customer satisfaction
• Coordinate reservations, walk-ins, and group, corporate, and event bookings to optimize seating and service capacity
• Collaborate with kitchen team to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
• Monitor front-of-house supplies, place replenishment orders, and flag low stock to maintain operational readiness
• Maintain outlet cleanliness, safety, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards to uphold regulatory requirements
• Compile and report daily sales and operational matters to management for informed decision-making

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience handling events or large group bookings to support diverse service needs
• Proficiency with POS and reservation systems and rostering tools to streamline operations
• Coffee or barista skills to enhance service offerings
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 1 or willingness to obtain it to support food safety compliance
