Job summary

HEY ROCKET PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a service-oriented Butler to deliver personalised, high-quality experiences for guests in a luxury hotel environment.

You will anticipate guest needs, coordinate personalised arrangements and ensure a seamless stay. This role requires at least 1 year in hospitality, Mandarin and English proficiency, and experience with PMS/POS systems. You will work rotating shifts, collaborating with housekeeping, F&B, concierge and other departments to maintain

• Minimum 1 year of relevant hospitality or guest services experience.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Prior luxury hotel or VIP guest service experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in PMS, POS systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised guest service from pre-arrival preparation to departure.
• Review guest profiles and preferences to prepare suites, amenities and special arrangements.
• Welcome guests, conduct in-suite check-in and provide suite orientation and luggage assistance.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest enquiries and requests in person, over the phone, via email and messaging platforms.
• Coordinate restaurant reservations, transportation, sightseeing, entertainment and other guest arrangements.
• Handle in-room dining orders, serve meals and coordinate the replenishment of amenities, room servicing, laundry and other in-suite services.
• Arrange personalised experiences and celebrations for special occasions.
• Proactively follow up on guest requests, resolve service issues and elevate complaints or incidents when necessary.
• Maintain accurate guest preference records, operational documentation and shift handovers.
• Work closely with housekeeping, food and beverage, concierge and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Adhere to luxury hospitality service standards, grooming requirements, workplace safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Perform other operational duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality or Tourism Management preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hospitality or guest services.
• Prior luxury hotel or VIP guest service experience will be an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin; both essential for serving Mandarin-speaking guests.
• Proficient in Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail and a professional, service-oriented attitude.
• Able to work well in a team, manage priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
