Job summary

Sheraton Towers Singapore Hotel is seeking a Sales & Business Development professional to identify and develop new hotel opportunities and manage key accounts. You will respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts to achieve revenue targets.

You will also collaborate with events, banquets and operations, maintain CRM records, and present sales reports to leadership. Fluency in English and other languages is required for international client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

• 3–5 years of sales experience in hospitality.
• Strong network of domestic and international contacts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficient in Delphi, Opera, Salesforce.

Sales & Business Development

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for the hotel.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts, agencies, and intermediaries.
• Respond to RFPs, prepare proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Achieve and exceed segment revenue targets and KPIs.
• Represent the hotel at industry trade shows, networking events, and sales missions.

Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial inquiry through event execution.
• Understand clients' objectives and tailor event solutions accordingly.
• Maintain detailed records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
• Conduct regular account reviews and client meetings to strengthen relationships.

Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with the Events, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Participate in daily/weekly business review meetings to forecast and strategize.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform sales strategy.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
• Monitor performance metrics and analyze the success of campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality industry.
• Strong network and contacts, both domestic and international.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in sales software and hotel systems (e.g., Delphi, Opera, Salesforce).
