Qualifications

• Proven business development, sales, or account management experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management abilities with corporate clients, distribution partners, or advisers.
• Solid understanding of insurance, general insurance personal lines, and investment products including CIS.
• Analytical and strategic thinking with market analysis, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with ability to prepare proposals and pitches.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous sales experience as an adviser or a life insurance business development manager is a prerequisite.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field; relevant professional certifications in insurance or financial services are an advantage.
• Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making; insurtech/digital distribution is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Singlife’s insurance and investment solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, corporate clients, and key stakeholders.
• Manage end-to-end sales pipeline, from prospecting and needs analysis through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, operations, finance) to tailor solutions and support campaigns.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, prepare reports and forecasts.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen Singlife’s market position.
