Job summary

Smile Point operates three dental clinics in Singapore and is seeking a proactive front desk professional. You will be the first point of contact for patients, manage appointments, process payments, and handle claims across CHAS, Medisave and private insurance.

No healthcare experience is required, and there is a clear path from Trainee to Business Associate with salary progression. Structured induction, mentorship from Ops and senior staff, and opportunities to attend sponsored courses are part

Job description

Work schedule:

5-day work week on a rotating shift, including at least one weekend day. Two rest days every week. Day shifts 8:30am to 6:15pm. No night shifts. Clinics closed on public holidays.

What you\'ll do

• Check patients in and out, and be the person they deal with first
• Book, confirm and move appointments across the day
• Take payments, and handle cash and card accurately
• Submit and track dental claims — CHAS, Medisave and private insurance
• Answer calls, emails and counter enquiries

What you\'ll learn

• Healthcare billing and claims — CHAS, Medisave and private insurance. This transfers across the healthcare sector, not just dentistry.
• Clinic scheduling and patient flow, which is what keeps a three-clinic group running to time
• How to handle anxious patients. A lot of people are nervous about the dentist, and whether they come back often comes down to how they were treated at the desk.

Your first month, and where it leads

• One month of structured induction, working through a written manual and training checklist with our Ops team and senior front desk staff as your mentors
• Trainee to Business Associate: 3 to 6 months
• Higher pay grade at around one year
• Business Associate to Senior Business Associate: 2 to 3 years
• We sponsor courses and certification for trainees, and again when you are promoted

What we\'re looking for

Pay and benefits

• $2,500 – $3,000 per month
