Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd, a technology consultancy in Singapore, invites a Business Analyst to join the Co-Development unit. You will work with product managers, developers and operations to design solutions that solve complex problems and deliver meaningful impact.

You will define requirements, lead workshops and translate needs into user stories while collaborating with engineers and designers to ensure scalable outcomes within a 1-year fixed-term engagement at Westgate, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Angular experience is a plus.
• Ability to navigate both business and technical discussions effectively.
• Experience gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements.
• Experience facilitating workshops with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience translating requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and process models.
• Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
• Understanding of software development lifecycles, testing practices and release processes.
• Ability to understand APIs, integrations, cloud services and data flows.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience in government, SaaS or GRC domains is advantageous.
• Experience with enterprise workflow platforms like ServiceNow is a plus.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with ownership and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Define and validate business problems, outcomes, scope and success measures.
• Analyze current-state and future-state processes, user journeys and workflows.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements.
• Elicit, analyse and document business, functional, non-functional, integration and data requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria and process flows.
• Manage requirements traceability and support change management.
• Prioritize backlogs with Product Managers based on value, risk and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and designers on scalable solutions.
• Support testing by defining acceptance criteria and validating features.
• Assist with release readiness and operational handover.
• Participate in incident triage and post-incident reviews when needed.
• Contribute to AI-enabled capabilities for security planning and assurance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to understand pain points and opportunities.
• Support product strategy and backlog refinement with Product Managers.
• Work with designers to improve service journeys and user experience.
• Engage DevOps and operations on deployment and support needs.
• Assist Scrum Masters and delivery leads in Agile planning and execution.
