Job summary

DADACONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned IT Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions, driving process improvements and improving customer experience. You will operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery within a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.

The role emphasises working across departments, applying Design Thinking and agile practices to translate requirements into BRDs and user stories, and supporting UAT and SDLC activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role within a technology‑driven environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with BA tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq, and hands‑on experience with both Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and mediate between conflicting requirements to achieve consensus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth business needs analysis by engaging stakeholders across departments to understand goals, challenges, and current-state processes.
• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to explore user needs, facilitate ideation workshops, and develop human-centred solutions and prototypes.
• Translate high-level business requirements into detailed, testable functional and non-functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and BRDs.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, data models, functional specifications, and UAT plans.
• Analyse existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend optimised future-state solutions leveraging technology and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with technical architects, developers, and IT teams to engineer viable, sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, managing stakeholder expectations and facilitating clear communication across all levels.
• Support UAT activities and the broader SDLC by clarifying requirements and resolving issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth business needs analysis by engaging stakeholders across departments to understand goals, challenges, and current-state processes
• Apply Design Thinking methodologies to explore user needs, facilitate ideation workshops, and develop human-centred solutions and prototype

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, data models, functional specifications, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or equivalent role within a technology-driven environment
• Demonstrated proficiency with business analysis tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq, and hands-on experience with both Agile Scrum and Waterfall project methodologies
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and mediate between conflicting requirements to achieve consensus
• Experience in e-commerce, hospitality, or integrated resort environments (is a bonus)
• Professional certifications such as CCBA, CBAP, PSM, PSPO, or a Design Thinking qualification (is a bonus)
