Job summary

The Deputy/Assistant Manager, Bus Service Development role sits within the regulatory team that licenses and oversees bus services. You will evaluate Bus Service Licence applications, manage the use of bus stops, monitor operations and recommend follow-up actions for non-compliance with licensing conditions.

You will work with government agencies, bus operators, private organisations and community stakeholders to improve the regulatory framework and public transport.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to assess regulatory and licensing issues.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication for senior-management proposals.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders across agencies, operators and the public.
