Job summary

Qualifications

• Preferably at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to assess regulatory, licensing and operational issues.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate applications relating to Bus Service Licences and the use of bus stops.
• Monitor bus service operations and recommend follow-up actions for non-compliance with licensing conditions.
• Review and develop rules, regulations, guidelines and policies to ensure the regulatory framework remains effective and relevant.
• Review operational guidelines and procedures to streamline processes and improve operational effectiveness.
• Collaborate with other government agencies, public and private bus operators, organisations and stakeholders on bus and transport matters; attend to public feedback.
