Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Bus Service Contract Management section under BCM. You will oversee operator performance, drive transition activities, and ensure accurate processing of variations and payments.

The role requires extensive experience in government contract management, strong leadership, and clear communication with diverse stakeholders. You will guide operational and policy decisions in a dynamic public sector setting.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in government/public sector contract management or regulatory operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Identify opportunities for digitalisation and process improvements, and recommend actionable solutions.
• Strong leadership with ability to manage teams and maintain strategic focus.
• Excellent written and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team in monitoring operators' performance against KPIs and contract conditions.
• Oversee processing and implementation of service variations to support operations.
• Establish and review processes for contracted bus services and operations management.
• Verify monthly payment requests from operators and ensure claims are validated promptly.
• Plan and lead transition activities during operator changes with clear milestones.
• Supervise ground monitoring during transitions and ensure smooth handovers.
• Oversee funding papers, budget reviews, and multi-year cashflow projections.
