Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an Operations Manager (Bunkering) to lead and optimize bunkering operations across vessel scheduling, cargo handling and delivery. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a maritime environment.

The successful candidate will plan bunkering vessel fleets for loading and STS operations, monitor fuel quality and quantity, and ensure compliance with loading requirements and safety standards while driving

Qualifications

• Degree in related field.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of marine industry, especially bunkering.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bunkering operations including vessel scheduling, cargo handling and delivery.
• Plan fleet of bunker vessels for loading, bunkering and STS operations.
• Monitor fuel quality, quantity, documentation and reporting.
• Liaise with terminals or suppliers and ensure loading requirements compliance.
• Manage budgets and drive cost efficiency; implement KPIs and process improvements.
• Lead and support the operations department, including cargo officers and staff.
