DIRECT SEARCH ASIA PTE. LTD. is seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate safe, timely and accurate bunker deliveries to vessels in Singapore.

The role emphasizes planning deliveries, coordinating tankers and customers, and managing time-sensitive documentation. You will work with Trading, Shipping, Finance and HSSEQ teams, ensure compliance with port regulations, and optimise schedules to improve delivery efficiency and customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of bunker operations or related experience.
• Good understanding of bunker-delivery procedures and Singapore port operations.
• Familiarity with marine-fuel grades, Mass Flow Meter requirements and bunker documentation.
• Experience coordinating bunker tankers, vessels, terminals and port agents.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage several deliveries and changing priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate bunker deliveries based on customer orders and vessel schedules.
• Arrange bunker tankers and optimise delivery schedules and barge utilisation.
• Liaise with customers, traders, vessel Masters, agents, terminals and bunker-tanker crews.
• Monitor vessel movements, berth availability, loading schedules and delivery progress.
• Communicate operational instructions and delivery updates to all relevant parties.
• Ensure the correct fuel grade and quantity are supplied in accordance with customer requirements.
• Prepare and verify delivery documentation, including nominations, bunker requisitions and bunker delivery notes.
• Maintain accurate operational records and update internal systems promptly.
• Monitor Mass Flow Meter readings and address documentation or quantity discrepancies.
• Coordinate product loading and replenishment for bunker tankers.
• Respond promptly to delays, schedule changes, equipment issues and other operational challenges.
• Investigate bunker-delivery discrepancies and support the resolution of customer claims.
• Ensure operations comply with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable port regulations.
• Work closely with Trading, Shipping, Finance and HSSEQ teams.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
• Support process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency and customer service.

Role OverviewWe are seeking an Operations Executive to coordinate the safe, timely and accurate delivery of marine fuels to vessels in Singapore.The successful candidate will manage bunker-delivery schedules, coordinate with bunker tankers and customers, prepare operational documentation and respond to changes throughout the delivery process. The role requires strong coordination skills and the ability to handle time-sensitive operations outside regular office hours.

• Two to four years of experience in bunker operations, marine-fuel supply, shipping operations or a related role.
• Good understanding of bunker-delivery procedures and Singapore port operations.
• Familiarity with marine-fuel grades, Mass Flow Meter requirements and bunker documentation.
• Experience coordinating bunker tankers, vessels, terminals and port agents.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage several deliveries and changing priorities simultaneously.
• Meticulous and comfortable working with time-sensitive documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant operational systems.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Able to work outside normal office hours, including weekends and public holidays, when operationally required.
