Job summary

VY SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Bunker Clerk/Cargo Officer to manage cargo operations onboard bunker tankers, ensuring product quality and compliance with SS 648:2024 and company work instructions.

You will maintain custody control, inventory records, and logbooks, and promptly report customer disputes to the Operations Manager. The role requires at least 1 year of experience, relevant certifications (SS 600, TR 48, SS 648:2024), and willingness to stay onboard for shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Bunker Clerk or Cargo Officer onboard bunker tankers.
• Certification in Basic & Advanced Course on Bunkering Practices (SS 600 & TR 48).
• Certification in Code of Practice for Bunker Mass Flow Metering (SS 648:2024).
• Willing to perform company shift duties and stay onboard the vessel as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage cargo operations and related documentation onboard bunker tankers.
• Safeguard product quality and quantity during cargo operations.
• Ensure cargo loading, ex-bunker delivery, blending and delivery operations comply with company work instructions and SS 648:2024, where applicable.
• Implement proper custody control procedures for cargo storage onboard bunker tankers and cargo movements.
• Maintain accurate and timely inventory records, including the stock movement logbook and Daily ROB Report.
• Report customer complaints or disputes promptly to the Operations Manager and assist with onsite investigations.
• Perform other operational and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
