Link Property Management (Redwood) Private Limited is seeking an experienced facilities supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations, supervise in-house and contracted teams, and ensure compliance with fire safety, WSH, hygiene and environmental requirements. The role supports tenants, shoppers and visitors by maintaining a clean, safe and secure building environment.
You will conduct inspections, manage preventive maintenance, oversee service contractors, and coordinate ITQ processes
Support the Operations team in ensuring the safe and effective management of the building and its common areas. Oversee daily building maintenance operations, supervise in-house maintenance personnel, ensure compliance with fire safety, workplace safety, hygiene and environmental requirements, and maintain a clean, safe, secure and pleasant environment for tenants, shoppers and visitors.
Supervise and coordinate the daily work of handymen and maintenance personnel to ensure preventive and corrective maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Conduct routine inspections of the building, common areas and facilities to identify defects, maintenance issues, safety hazards and operational deficiencies, ensuring timely rectification.
Plan, monitor and follow up on preventive maintenance programmes to maintain the operational reliability, safety and appearance of the building and its facilities.
Supervise and monitor the performance of housekeeping, pest control, landscaping and other service contractors to ensure contractual obligations, service standards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved.
Carry out regular housekeeping and hygiene inspections of common areas, food operators and food courts to ensure compliance with company standards and NEA requirements
Monitor food waste disposal, recycling programmes and waste management practices, and provide guidance to food operators on proper waste segregation and environmental compliance.
Ensure refuse rooms, recycling stations, loading bays and waste collection areas are maintained in a clean, safe and hygienic condition.
Monitor and prevent unauthorised encroachment, obstruction or misuse of common areas by tenants, contractors or members of the public, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Call Invitations to Quote (ITQ) for building repairs and maintenance works in accordance with procurement policies and procedures.
Coordinate, supervise and inspect contractors carrying out maintenance, repair and replacement works to ensure compliance with approved specifications, workplace safety requirements and project schedules.
Inspect completed works, verify workmanship quality and ensure all defects are rectified before recommending acceptance and completion of works.
Respond promptly to tenant enquiries, complaints and service requests relating to maintenance, cleanliness, safety and building operations, ensuring timely resolution.
Maintain records of inspections, maintenance activities, contractor performance, corrective actions and operational reports.
Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Environmental Public Health, and reporting any non-compliance and following up on corrective actions.
Participate in emergency response, fire drills, business continuity planning, incident investigations and crisis management activities to support the safe operation of the property.
Relevant certifications in Fire Safety, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Facilities Management or equivalent professional qualifications will be an advantage.
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in commercial building, retail mall, property or facilities management.
Experience in supervising in-house maintenance personnel and outsourced service contractors.
Experience in preparation of Invitations to Quote (ITQ).
Experience in managing housekeeping, hygiene inspections, pest control, landscaping and waste management operations will be an advantage.
Good knowledge of building maintenance, repair works and preventive maintenance practices.
Good understanding of building services, housekeeping, hygiene, pest control, landscaping, waste management and environmental sustainability practices.
Working knowledge of Fire Safety, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH), Environmental Public Health.
Ability to inspect building defects, assess maintenance requirements and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
Good leadership and supervisory capabilities.
Proactive, responsible and customer service oriented.
Attention to detail and maintaining operational, safety and service standards.
Able to work independently.
