Job summary

Emd Group is seeking an Associate Scientist III – Biosafety Testing to support GMP operations in Molecular Biology and NGS labs. You will perform biosafety assays, prepare reagents, monitor stock levels, and maintain equipment to sustain workflow and compliance.

The role may involve training junior staff and collaborating across Scientists and Lab personnel. A GMP-regulated environment background, strong problem solving, and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree in Biological Sciences or higher qualification in relevant scientific subject.
• 3+ years of working experience in biologics or biopharmaceutical industry.
• 3+ years of working experience in a regulated environment (GMP or equivalent).
• 2+ years in molecular biology, virology, microbiology, or mycoplasma with troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform Biosafety assays in Molecular Biology and NGS labs following SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Maintain stock levels, prepare reagents and ensure equipment calibration and maintenance.
• Train and mentor junior lab personnel as needed.
• Participate in internal quality audits and regulatory audits.
• Document control and data management to ensure traceability and compliance.
