Job summary

Illumina Singapore Pte Ltd is recruiting a Scientist 2 in Reagent Sciences to advance reagent stabilization and formulation for NGS consumables. You will perform R&D work on lyophilization and enzyme-based reagents, contributing to higher performance and robustness.

Qualifications

BSc/BE in biochemistry, biochemical engineering or related field.
Strong lab skills with hands-on experience in biochemical processes.
Experience collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams is valued.

Responsibilities

Design and perform experiments of moderate to advanced complexity using diverse techniques.
Summarize findings and recommend follow-up experiments.
Document observations in lab notebooks and electronic records.
Own lab processes and contribute to smooth operations.
Write technical reports for local leadership and teams.
Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
Apply statistical methods to drive decision-making.
