Job summary

Nanyang Technological University Singapore (LKCMedicine) seeks a hands-on Biosafety/Facility Support role to assist in the operations of a BSL-3 laboratory. You will provide operational, administrative and biosafety support for RG3 pathogen research.

Ideal candidates have a Biomedical Sciences degree, Singapore biosafety knowledge, and at least 6 months in a BSL-2 lab, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences / Life Sciences or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Singapore biosafety regulations and infectious agents.
• Minimum 6 months in BSL‑2 lab; animal handling experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of disinfectants/sterilants, aerosol exposure risks; excellent written/verbal communication.
• Good team player, motivated, willing to learn, strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Support the operations of the NTU LKCMedicine BSL‑3 Facility by providing operational, administrative, and biosafety compliance support for research involving RG3 pathogens.
• Assist with experimental activities.
• Maintain facility inventory and documentation.
• Coordinate facility users and supporting procurement.
